Cisco 3825 & 3845 Serial Number Validation Cisco 3825 & 3845 Serial Number Validation Steps: Please enter the serial number(s) of your 3825 or 3845(s) below to verify whether a unit is affected. To enter multiple units, separate each serial number by a comma or space, or you can simply copy and paste a list of serial numbers from Excel. Once you have completed entering the serial numbers, click "Submit."   Serial Number Location: The serial number of a Cisco 3825 and 3845 can be found on the rear of the chassis, near the bottom right corner or with the IOS "show diag" command.
