Cisco Aironet 1530, 1550, 1600, 1700, 2600, 2700, 3500, 3600 and 3700 Series Serial Number Validation Steps:
Please enter the serial number(s) of your Cisco Aironet 1530, 1550, 1600, 1700, 2600, 2700, 3500, 3600 and 3700 Series. To enter multiple units, separate each serial number by a comma or space, or you can simply copy and paste a list of serial numbers from Excel. Once you have completed entering the serial numbers, click "Submit."

The serial number of a Cisco Aironet 1530, 1550, 1600, 1700, 2600, 2700, 3500, 3600 and 3700 Series can be found:
1) Via visual inspection of the label at the back/bottom of the Access Point.
2) From the AP CLI using the “show version” command.
3) If the AP is joined to a controller with AireOS, from the controller CLI using the "show ap inventory APNAME", and look for the "Cisco AP" serial, or from the GUI, view the serial number via Wireless > All APs > APNAME > Inventory.
4) If the AP is joined to a controller with IOS-XE, from the controller CLI using the "show ap name APNAME inventory", and look for the "Cisco AP" serial, or from the GUI, view the serial number via Configuration > Wireless > Access Points > All APs > APNAME > Inventory.
